    Today was/is a particularly bad day filled with unfortunate events.  I have two wolf mixes who decided to play Houdini and run a muck.  They are still at large. :/ I will also be without internet for awhile, which makes my new work rather hard to do.  The little hell hounds slaughtered my Mom’s prized free-ranged hens and the Veloci-rooster.  While I was out searching I saw this flower in my backyard.  Perfect lighting, angle, background, etc.  I ran for my camera and took it.  This moment reminded me that even after a terrible day, you can find something to be grateful for.
